A silk-screened poster promotes an international day of solidarity with Latin American political prisoners. The damage around the edges of the poster illustrates the typically transient nature of political posters of this kind. Printed on inexpensive flimsy paper, and meant to promote an event, they were rarely preserved, and if they were, shows signs of wear.
